Do I need the full V5 for VRT?

I have just purchased a car in the North this is my first time to VRT a car and I’m finding it a little confusing. Hoping someone can clear these few questions up. Much appreciated

Is the V5 the vehicle identity document? Do I need the full V5 including the little export slip or is it I need everything else except that little slip and the dealer only cuts that out and he sends that off?

What can I get for proof of entry date into the country?

Proof of PPSN will just be something like a P60?

Then I also need

The Vehicle Purchase Declaration Form filled out
and
Proof Address like Bank Statement/Phone Bill

You only need the first page of the V5 logbook. The page with the vehicle details. You don’t need proof of entry because you bought it in the North, just an invoice for the car. P60 or medical card for PPSN. ID, Proof of address as you said. Also 2 vrt forms to be filled out
