    collarbone ?

Or shoulder dislocated. He could barely walk.

We are murdering their scrums though.

Is it true that South Africa have NEVER scored a try in RWC final?

    15-12
    15-6

If this keeps on this route England could see a yellow in the scrum for Cole.

Heard SA having a word with Garces about England clearing way past the ruck.

Blocking as well. They get beyond the ball an awful lot

England could be really up against it here. South Africa would appear to have a better lineout and clear dominance in the scrum.

England could do no worse than having Cole get injured so scrums go uncontested??

Yer man Forde not exactly on his game!

    Boring final so far.
Cos England aren't clocking up lots of brilliant scores?! It's an intriguing match.

What happens when Eddie pushes that big red button?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,943 ✭✭✭Jacovs

AFAIK Marler is capable of tight head as well - so two injuries would be needed

Ah would you stop. Another few inches and that was the perfect kick.

That was an awful passage of play from SA. Handing momentum to England.

Is it true that South Africa have NEVER scored a try in RWC final?

The Springboks have never got a try in a WC final. All their previous scores in finals have come from penalties and drop goals.

    How long does advantage apply?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,204 ✭✭✭dodderangler

    Solid defense by sa
De Klerk needs to stay inside. He’s been called twice in a minute. He’s be lucky to not be carded.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,559 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

    Unreal defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭gooch2k9

That's why we never got the ball in the backs when I played!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,254 ✭✭✭Esse85

Very scrappy final lacking any real quality so far.

Lucky not to get a yellow there, De Klerk didn't need to give away the last one

    How long does advantage apply?

Must be the longest advantage ever, has the rule about this changed recently?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,540 ✭✭✭✭2smiggy

This penelty advantage is a joke at this stage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

The length of the that penalty advantage is taking the p*ss

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,843 ✭✭✭Utah_Saint

South Africa are hugely physical.... England will be disappointed with 3 points

SA will be delighted to be level after that. Still feel England will do it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,027 ✭✭✭Euphoriasean

Cynical from SA. England knocked back to the 22 and he continues to play advantage, blow the whistle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,564 ✭✭✭RugbyLover123

That’s a joke. Very little communication from Garces throughout that passage too.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,160 ✭✭✭Huntergonzo

    How long does advantage apply?

Ref must have had a bet on England getting the first try, most refs would have blew up when England lost 20m!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Lenihan keeps saying that SA are quite happy to give away those penalties. Why?! Its just handing massive momentum to England and putting themselves under ridiculous pressure. Plus they are heading for a card here.
