This is the first time I’ve seen it out to the test if VAR will make decisions based on rules or be lead by the damage caused
It is a horrible injury but it is still only a yellow imo

Yellow card tackle tbh. Hopefully Gomez makes a quick recovery but the Red seems to be a reaction to the injury, not the challenge.

Horror injury. Don't look at it. Having seen it in real time it looked like a yellow for Son(not a red). The injury was accidental and as a consequence of Gomes colliding into Aurier after.

I can see the argument for it alright if he gave it initially
However it’s debatable
