I’m thinking of moving from Virgin to Vodafone broadband. I’m in the newbridge area. Can anyone recommend it ?

I don't know about reception but when I tried to sign up with them their incompetence and general messing meant I gave up on them. Not in Newbridge area btw.

Unless you're being offered a SIRO based package (up to 1000) you'll be horribly dissapointed

****e... Simple answer had a nightmare moving the service from one place to another. Routers burn out each year... KNN are a disaster for instillation. I had such a horrendous experience with them. Only seemed to go downhill this year. I moved phone network to rid the scumbags. Constant bills for cancelled services and threatening emails with debt collectors for service I never had or signed up for. Customer Service is a joke. Look at their Facebook page and posts people leave about them for a good indication.
    In Newbridge

I'm leaving virgin as the price hike but as in Gorey there isn't too many other options.

    Vodafone can give me 15mbps.

    Any ideas?

Nobody else will give you more than 15 if Vodafone can only give 15. Same copper.

Siro is available in my area it’s 1Gb €25 for 6 months then €56
My virgin package is only supplying 240mb for €53

Go then. The link technology is more important than the ISP

There are smaller independents doing SIRO, Airwire might be available in your area and have a good reputation
