May the man rest in peace now. And we all shut the F up about it. RTE are in extreme mode now.

Sad thing is, once the funeral is over most will forget about it and that’s that. Such is life.

When it’s all over is when you need support, just saying.

I imagine Kathleen and the daughters will write a book on life with Gay, with contributions from grandchildren. That will keep them well occupied for a year.

I've lived here for 25 years and I can't grasp it, if I'm honest.

Does anyone remember when The LLS used to have audience members singing their requests and greetings live on air? Used to happen in the 80s a lot. Haven't heard any mention of it.

    Ah yeah, they were great

Peter Ustinov waiting to come on, but first a song from Bridie in the audience that doesn't rhyme or make any sense

"Hello everyone back home in Tullamore
It's Bridie and Mick at the Late Late Show
Don't forget to bring the washing in before you go to bed ..."

    That's not going to happen.

Rte will have a series of BEST OF LLS planned now, cash in on GBs death.
