    Hi Guys

Could you recommend any good AVR that would be compatible with a 3.1.2 Dolby Atmos system

Given the shape of my room and where the TV is situated I do not have areas for a 5.1.2 system.

Currently using a Sony HT-X8500, but its not really great.

    Hi captainneutron,

I have had a look around and I have found an amp that will run a 3.1.2 Dolby Atmos Setup. The Onkyo TXNR686 at £329 would run a 3.1.2 setup however to run it properly you would need to wire up 2 front speakers with two additional height speakers instead of rears. This will work well for an Atmos soundtrack but may not give you the best effect when playing a standard 5.1 soundtrack:

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the info.

Do you stock the Onkyo HT-S3910?

Seems to have the stuff I am looking for as it supports 3.1.2?

    Hi captainneutron,

Unfortunately the HT-S3910 is not a model we stock!

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards
