City centre pub with an open fire

    Hey,

    I'm stuck for bringing an American friend to a pub in the city centre with a 'cosy' atmosphere. Anyone know if there's one with an open fire.

    Brazen Head, or Johnny Foxes (the latter definitely has, or had, open fires - not exactly city centre though!)
