Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I just got fiber to the home installed with Vodafone and tried to use my own Asus RT-AC 5300 router, this thing is a beast in every way but for some reason is having speed issues when configured to use PPPOE and vlan tagging as required. I've decided to replace it with something else and was wondering what router everyone else is using?

My requirements are speed so possibly a tri band as my current asus is.
Vpn on the router level and WiFi distance.

So my question is what router are you using and are your speeds gigabits all the time?

    Hi,

I'm using the Asus RT-AX88U in the same setup as yourself and i'm getting good speeds (connecting directly to the router I get 900Mbps+ / 200Mbps - WiFi 400Mbps+ / 200Mbps).

The only thing that start happening in the last few weeks are connection drops (sometimes 2 and 3 times a day). Still don't know why that is happening but the router reconnects, just a little annoying...

I was looking into your router to replace my one, it's clearly some firmware issue..

WiFi 6 on yours I would of expected a bit better on the WiFi.

My laptop on Vodafone gigabox router gets up to 800 on WiFi sitting next to it lol.

    Cheers for your input
