NCT Question

Hi I'm a bit confused my NCT is up for renewal next February. I decided to get it done this month and have 15 months test.
But on the site it's telling me I've selected a voluntary date and my future test date will change. Does that mean I will only get a year if I test it now. Has the three months in advance test been done away with.
    The car is 2008. Thanks.

What date in Feb is it due and what date thus month did you try to book?

If you test up to 90 days before the current due date you will get 15 months. If you test over 90 days early, it's a voluntary early test and you will only get 12 months on the cert. Sounds like you are still outside the 90 days.

Usually NCT my car just inside the 90 day threshold. I find https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html handy to figure out the date 90 days before its due date.

It offers you a different option if you try to book too early. >90 you get voluntary early test
    <90 you get periodical inspection
