Love Will Tear Us Apart - as tempted as I was to vote the other lads for a laugh, there's already enough jokey songs gone through to the next round in the place of actual good songs, and I'd hate to see Love Will Tear Us Apart suffer the same fate.

Turning Japanese - it's just the one I prefer of the two. Rapper's Delight is such a long song, whereas Turning Japanese gets right down to business straight off the bat and gets the job done in no time at all.

Safety Dance - agree with everyone, should be the end of the road for both this round, but of the two Safety Dance is more worthy of moving on.

Crash - a much better song imo.

Safety Dance - what I love about this song is that it manages to be both a fun, silly song but also a genuinely good piece of music; that synth line is just fantastic. And there is actually a story behind the song (it was written in response to bouncer throwing people out of clubs when the "pogo" craze started) so it's not just total gibberish! I'm not necessarily saying it should win the whole thing but no regrets about nominating it and think it's worthy of its place here.

Save Tonight - when I first think of one hit wonders these are two of the first songs that immediately spring to mind. Another tough call, but Save Tonight hold the better memories for me.

I'm with you on Suzanne Vega in terms of her having better songs. Her debut single, for example, Marlene on the Wall is superb. I have heard Sixpence None the Richer's cover of There She Goes. It's alright, but I would prefer the original from The LAs. Incidentally, The LAs are more genuine OHW than Sixpence None the Richer!

First one is a very tough choice but Wicked Game just edges it.

Second one I vote for Save Tonight, it's just a great song. I don't hate There She Goes but I do find it very overrated.

I love, love, love Luka but it’s gonna have to be Wicked Game for me. It’s just in a class of its own.

Breaking news just in: different people have different opinions on different songs! (edit, sorry, rolleyes may have seemed a bit aggressive, not looking to cause any fights!)

Maybe naff would've been a better description for Where Do You Go My Lovely than cheesy, I don't even hate it I just find the tune a bit flat and the lyrics are quite OTT and kinda smug. I'm not saying Wicked Game is a lyrical masterpiece but the melody and the vocal are haunting and really creates a mood.
