Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Peugeot 207 steering issue

Just wondering would anyone have experience of this? 2012 1.4 HDi 207 and when driving at any speeds but usually higher 80km/h+ the steering wheel seems to “stick” slightly to the right, needs a nudge to re-Centre instead of naturally re-centering itself. Am I looking at a steering rack issue/pump issue here or perhaps bearings/suspension making their way back to the wheel?

Thanks in advance for any pointers

The famous peugeot steering rack cancer. About 600 for the replacement part and quite possibly the same again for labour.

Been reading about power steering failures alright but thought it seemed to be complete loss of power steering. Maybe that’s the start of it! Thanks for the reply

For a 207, you'd have to consider whether it is even worth fixing.
Scrapping might be more in line for a car like that.
