Virgin home phone to Vodafone SIRO home phone

Looking at moving from VM broadband with my home phone that comes with my VM Broadband to Vodafones SIROs board band & home phone. If my phone currently works ok off my Virgin Media modem would that means its also compatible with the SIRO modem? Cheers any help appreciated.
