Help me price a Van

    A friend of mine is selling his van. He is not sure how to price it. Anyone be able to take a stab at a fair price for vehicle below.

    VW Transporter.
    2011 White.
    90,000km.
    102BHP.
    SWB 2800.
    1.9 DIESEL.
    Services and CVRT every year.
    Very light use. Just some cosmetic scratches but in reasonably good order -

    Somewhere between 25 and 30% of price of a new one. Is transporter about 23/24k new?
    I'm guessing start in around 6k
    Sounds like a decent van for someone

    Upwards of €6k depending on stuff like colour and whether it has stuff like colour coded bumpers and alloys.
    Transporters aren’t like Berlingos and Transits. They’re nearly bought as cars, so treat any scratches and scrapes as you would on a car when valuing one.

    Yeah. That's the Van. I know, 10k is very strong. I think that was put up there to gauge interest. I will advise him to price more realistically.

    It has nearly twice the mileage you said in OP.
    I see its dropped to 5,500 now which is more realistic.

    Two different adds. The original that OP is refering to is correct millage and still 10K.
