Hi! I am interested in buying the TV mentioned in the title. However, I am unsure of the sound bar is detachable.

    Hi Izzyflusky.

    Thanks for the post.

The soundbar is built into the stand of the 65OLED934. It can be taken off but then there would be no stand for the TV to sit on.
It can also be removed if wall mounting as there is a separate wall mount option for it.

Here is a link to the Quick start quide:
    Price dropped to 2999 Euro.

You can always keep the volume at Zero as normal if you are using your own Home Cinema system.

    Let me know your thoughts.

I am looking to wall mount it and have a home cinema system to go with it. Would you have any recommendations? Or can speakers be added to the bar/system that comes with the TV already? It seems a bit of a waste not to use it.

Do you have any deals for buying as a bundle? How much does delivery tend to cost to Dublin?

Apologies for jumping in here but is that price correct?

I didn't understand the pricing bit either. The TV itself is 3000 euro according to the site, I wouldnt say the bracket would be that much (?)

    Hi izzyflusky,

Kennys off today so I hope you don't mind me replying on his behalf.

I don't know if that was a mis type as the TV is £2499/2999 euro. I have had a look and I can't find any price information on the wall mount however it says it has a VESA fitting of 300 x 300 so it should fit on any compatible wall mount.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

Thank you. Any recommendation on a sound system? Are there any speakers or otherwise that could be linked in with the sound bar or would I have to buy a completely new system and not use the provided one?

    Hi izzyflusky,

The B and W soundbar would be a separate stand alone unit so you would not be able to link it with other speakers. If you were to go for a surround system you would need to go for an AV receiver and speaker set up as well.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

Just another thing. I can see in the manual provided by your colleague that the sound bar can be detached from the TV itself. But can the metal bar be detached from the sound bar so it fit as a built in element on the wall?

    Hi IzzyFlusky.

That bit is designed to carry the cables between the soundbar and TV and hold the soundbar onto the bottom of the TV for wall mounting.
These do detach from the soundbar as you get two different versions in the box. One for tabletop and one for wall mounting.

To be honest I'm not sure how you would wall mount the bar without this bit in place. Unless you plan to just set it in the wall?
