Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    EDIT - Does same for all phones..can someone confirm they always showed full price on final page m, but only charged 40?

    No it should definitely show 39.99 as the amount you will pay.

    Just onto chat and i told your site is broken....guy was ohh ok overnight release might have caused issue...can you clear cache and try again....lol i said already did do you want to report it...and he said ohh no thats fine issue is with your browser...lol what a cmpany !

    I got through to them on live chat, I have received order number and text to the number, but can't set up an account to check status.
    I was told that this is because of an issue with the order!
    I asked them to issue a white one instead as I have paid, but they can't do this.
    I have to wait 48-72 hours for a reply

    Had same issue with 100 discount not applying. Got on to VF chat and they said to clear cookies and cache and start over. Finally got it ordered this morning using an old Eir sim

    If you have an anpost tracking number or even a shipping ID then you will get it.

    No getting caught for anything. You're simply asked to choose which PAYG offer you want. No obligation to ever use the SIM that comes (or not) with the phone

    ok.. but they ever come after anyone for the money or the fact the phone only cost €40 instead of €140.

    I have taken up deals like this from VF for years, as have many other boards users.

    VF consistently have switch and save offers like the current one and I have never been charged, chased or otherwise.

    Ordered using Lycra Sim, then noticed it wasn't going to work so changed to 48 Sim, saw that wouldn't go through so tried an Eir Sim.
    Checked credit card, Lyrca cancelled, 48 payment has gone through but no email from Vodafone, Eir pending :confused:

    Vodafone Systems are a joke. I rang them, got put through to 3 different people and I'm still none the wiser whether the order will be processed or not.
    It's just wait and see at the moment.

    I have checked with the technical team, it seems to be a technical error.
    If you want to complete the order and check how much will be taken from your bank account. If there is a €139.99 had been taken, I would be able to refund €100 within 10-13 working days after creating your account.
    All you need to do now is just take a screenshot by the offer and process it if you want!


    Lol response on twitter !! No way i am chancing 100 bucks on their customer care.

    Finally bit the bullet and popped into Carphone Warehouse. Used a new Eir SIM I received in the post yesterday. No hassle at all. Had to pay for a €20 top-up but as I'm with Vodafone anyway, that's fine with me.

    Now just the small matter of chasing refunds for my three cancelled orders! :eek:

    Anytime I've done it they just ring the number to make sure you have it, nothing else required.

    FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

    You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

    Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

    I did register the Eir SIM on My Eir first to make sure it would port without issue. The lady I dealt with just took my name and email address & sent a verification SMS to the number and I had to read out the code in that to her.

    You can easily login to My3 for that spare SIM and change the name on it to yours.

    Anyone else managed to get around the 100 not taken off barring one person today ?
    Try following these steps.

    1. Go incognito.
    2. Go to page
    3. Click select under the vodafone x plan, 20 euro/ 4 weeks.
    4. A pop up should appear at bottom of screen showing, continue to basket, click on that.
    5. Should be showing 40 euro cost.
    6. In basket page there should be a box ticked showing keep my number. Enter "your number".
    7. Get verification code from phone that has the phone number you entered.
    8. Rest should be straightforward.

    I went on to chat cos I never got a confirmation email. He gave me a shipping ID and said I can check the progress with an post but it's not recognized on their system, yet at least.

    Did you deselect email and/or SMS in the marketing preferences thing that pops up, like I did?

    Meant I never got any confirmations at all

    I had a screen shot of the order number but that didn't work either

    Had to register for myvodafone using the email I ordered with, by which time the phone had been delivered :rolleyes:
