does every private hospital charge roughly the same consultation fee in Ireland or ar

    I rang one consultant reception and they said it was 200€, I emailed a few others and they didn’t bother to reply – do they all charge around 200€?

    Private consultants set their own fees as they are not employed by the hospital. The price will depend on the location, speciality, duration, type of consultation, etc. You would have to shop around.

    No, they don't all charge the same. I attend a number of consultants in a few hospitals, and their initial consultation fees range from €150 to €220. Revisits range from €120 to €180.

    Do they usually respond to emails asking what the prices are for consultations? I contacted about 10 different ones via email asking for the first time consultation fee and only one replied

    or do they usually only answer fee questions over the phone?
