    Hi

I'm in the market for a new tv in the next few weeks looking for a smart tv, 49" to 55", Saorview and Satellite tuner, mainly used for watching tv, streaming netflix and now tv and playing the ps4.

Came on this tv while browsing the usual sites.

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-203887-samsung-ue55ru7400-55-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-tvplus.aspx

Would you recommend this tv or is there a better option in the same price bracket.

    Thanks in advance
    Hi pdiddy,

That is a good TV however if you're looking for a good TV that has a satellite tuner and a good smart hub I would recommend the LG 55UM7660 at 598 euro. It has a better smart hub as well as the magic remote, Saorview and a Freesat tuner built in:

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204067-lg-55um7660pla-55-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-play.aspx

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi

I'd be happy to go with your recommendation.

I was also thinking of adding a sound bar as well. My question would be are they worth it and what one could you recommend.

    Thanks

    Hi pdiddy,

A soundbar would be worth it as TVs are too thin to fit very good speakers into them. TV sound isn't bad but it is a bit tinny and lacks a lot of depth. I would recommend the Cambridge TVB2 at the moment which is down to £199. It has HDMI inputs and a wireless subwoofer.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi David

Would there be a possibility of these being reduced further in the black Friday sale or what would be the best bundle price you could do for both the TV and sound bar.

    Thanks

    Hi pdiddy,

As a lot of our Black Friday prices have gone live early the web prices are the best I can do on those products.

We never know of future price drops until the day but if you do purchase them and they do drop on Black Friday just let us know and we can refund the difference.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi Glic83.

Unfortunately they still only offer a 1 year warranty on all their televisions.

For us to be able to offer a price beat it must be a like for like deal and include a 5 or 6 year warranty and also delivery if it can not be collected locally.
please see the link below for our full Price beat T&C's:
