Have you checked the APN details on your phone correspond to the ones posted on the first page of the gomo FAQ thread

I have this exact issue with one of my two SIM cards. Text and calls ok, but no data. I copied the working sim APN to the bogey one, didn't work. I contacted Gomo and they advised below , didn't work, new SIM on its way. I confirmed it wasn't wife's phone as my SIM works in my phone and wife's. Her SIM has no data in either phone.

    These are their instructions.

Can you ensure your APN settings are as follows

    Go to the Start screen.
    Choose Apps.
    Choose Settings.
    Choose Data usage.
If Mobile data is disabled, enable Mobile data and choose the back symbol.
If Mobile data is enabled, choose the back symbol.
    Choose Mobile networks.
    Choose Access Point Names.
    Choose ADD.
Under Name, enter eir Mobile data
    Under APN, enter data.myeirmobile.ie
    Under Proxy, enter nothing
    Under Port, enter nothing
    Under Username, enter nothing
    Under Password, enter nothing
    Scroll down.
    Under MCC, enter 353
    Under MNC, do nothing
    Under Authentication type, tick None.
    Choose APN type.
If this screen appears, enter default, supl (note: in lower case) and choose OK.
If this screen does not appear, tick Internet and choose OK.

    Under MCC, enter 353
    Under MNC, do nothing

Gomo are wrong with those field entries

    The correct values are...

    MCC 272
    MNC 03

Usually those fields are already populated by the values associated with the SIM.

The only other field that matters is the APN...

    data.myeirmobile.ie

    The alternative APN is...

    data.mymeteor.ie
    Under Username, enter nothing
    Under Password, enter nothing

AFAIK these are correct. Older Meteor SIMs had a User and Password so it's possible that it creates an error if these entries are populated.

Can confirm the above, they are what I entered along with APN as data.mymeteor.ie

BTW, these were the exact same settings I had when I had an Eir sim in the phone before swap to GoMo.

Had online chat this morning and they all gave me the wrong settings.

Works now with YOUR settings advice.

    Many thanks

Slightly related, does anyone know what number to ring from abroad to access voicemail?

If 171 doesn't work try 003538x5xxxxxxx. So your number with a 5 between the prefix and the 7 digit number that follows.

I tried just now on mine and got to my voicemail, you'll need your PIN to access

Yeah, tried both of those earlier, no joy. There's usually a mobile number you can ring. Three for instance have 00353833333171. I've tried the 5555 version in vain. Ah, it's not that important, thanks.

    So, still an issue.

    We have two Sims.
SIM 1 is perfect. SIM 2 has no data.

SIM one works in all phones. SIM two has no data in ANY phone.

APN checked and reset and matched to working sim.

New SIM sent out to replace dodgy SIM 2.

Still no data. It cannot be the phones as SIM 1 works great, cannot be APN on SIM two as it's reset and replacement SIM 2 the same.

I think it has to be on Gomo side.

Anybody any suggestions? Have emailed them again today.

Probably a stupid question but do you leave the Password blank or do you actually type in the word 'nothing' . Left blank and not working?

Also if I rest my phone to factory settings will I loose all my numbers??

So..... after multiple agents trying, a replacement sim and more grief, I finally got it sorted. As suspected, the APN settings on Gomos end were incorrect. I got an online agent last weekend who noted the details above and said to reboot. It worked. I asked him what he did and he confirmed it was settings on their side. So. I ordered two more sims this week, one for daughter, one for granny. Got 4 now.

Sorry to resurrect a thread here but really need some help.

    Moto G5 phone.

    Just moved to GoMo.
Support giving us settings that are the 'wrong' settings above.
Tried the MNC at 272 and MCC at 03.
And changing to the data.mymeteor.ie as well..

    But no luck.

    Any updates on this anyone?

Do we have to leave the phone off for a period of time for settings to take effect?

    Thanks in advance

Tried the MNC at 272 and MCC at 03.

It should be other way around

    MCC 272
    MNC 03
And changing to the data.mymeteor.ie as well.

There are a couple of other things to try...
    - leave that field blank and save.

    - or else try...
    broadband.mymeteor.ie
    broadband.myeirmobile.ie
    broadband.eir.ie
    data.eir.ie

...after that, it's a lottery. It's very poor when gomo can't resolve what should be a basic issue for any network engineer to diagnose and fix.

    Oh sorry.. it is.
    I typed that wrong..

After another hour on phone they said they'd send out a new Sim.
But now, this morning, the phone appears to have 4G....

    go figure...

    Thanks
