Tánaiste Simon Coveney has said the Irish Government secured the return of Lisa Smith and her daughter in light of the “dire conditions” the child faced in a Syrian camp.

He said worked for months to secure the release of Lisa Smith and her 2-year-old daughter.

Yeah, no one is claiming she was deported from the camp.

She was deported from Turkey though.

She was accompanied by a Turkish officer on the flight. That smells like a deportation to me.

It may well have been by arrangement with the Irish government, but deported she was.

It says for a few days last month according to the link.

Could you point where in the article from a month ago where it says she wasn't deported from Turkey last Sunday?

Do you think it's time to dig up?

She was deported but we fully complied to facilitate the deportation.

Once a country of origin and identity is established, a country is obliged to receive the deportee.

There's nothing we could have done to stop it.

Turkey said if we don't take her back she will be deported. She wasn't deported we bent over backwards spent thousands of euros to bring her home.

She was deported. In fact the Turkish government probably paid for her seat and that of the Turkish officer accompanying her. That's how deportations work.

Explain the presence of the Turkish officer if she wasn't deported?

She was. The Turkish official went along to make it official!

I'm sensing a sense of resentment for Ireland abiding by International laws and UN recommendations.
This is new, where does it stem from?

Those who feel this is an open and shut case because there is no evidence of wrong doing, she might not be convicted at all but if you know nothing else, just know this.

Lisa Smith is not just "Muslum", she is a Sunni Jihadist Muslim who joined a Fundamentalist Salafist organisation.

Salafi means you subscribe to the ideology of the Prophet Mohammed where Muslims want to (not just believe but) live the way Muhammed did.

There are 3 types of Salafi Muslim.

    1. Conservative with no intent to change anything in society.
    2. The political type that want to replace secular society with conservative ones.

Then the most dangerous one, which Lisa Smith has given over her life to.

    3. Advocating violance with a focus on terrorism against oppression of "the west".

In 2013 Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared Syria and Iraq as the "Islamic State" after disagreements with Al-Qaeda over what way to progress the ideology.

Baghdadi used children to spy on fellow Muslims and Salafi's, if you broke any of Muhammad's archaic codes you would be beaten or executed....on the word of a child.

In 2014, Baghdadi directed that the "Caliphate" should conduct global operations, so it did, you are all aware of that. That remains ISIS's goal.

This is Lisa Smiths chosen path.

Baghdadi's last and his successors first address have contunued the call to oppose the "west"...well we are the "west".

This one needs to be watched 25/8/366. Accept it or don't accept it, doesnt matter. The life and ideology of a Salafi Jihadist Muslim does not end in Kevin Street Garda station.

The prophesy of Dabiq, the Caliphate and the final battle, the destruction of Rome, and the death of the Pope. All were active objectives of isis, and still are.

Turkish state news agency Anadolu reported 2 days ago "The ministry said 13 German, two Belgian, two Dutch, one Danish, one British, one American and an Irish terrorist were deported from Turkey in Nov.11-Dec.1."

It's expressly forbidden for a Muslim, man or woman to leave Islam.

How is that different to how the Catholic Church won't let you leave? At least Muslims are upfront about it.

I've no idea, but she would be entitled to food.

Everyone who is detained for a set period of time is.

    Hardly a mental notion.

Well, some Muslims believe in the death penalty for those that voluntarily renunce the Muslim faith.

Im honestly not sure if old school Catholicism has something similar.

Is Eddie Rockets halal? I doubt Kevin St. station has the facilities to prepare halal food.
It is true that the Gardaí would try different methods to get her to talk.

She’ll be out soon. No charges as she committed no offences in Ireland.
    It’s just intelligence gathering imo.
