Hi all after advice on here a few year ago we got the carers benefit for caring for my elderly father.

I'm self employed so couldn't get it so my other half cut back her hours to 15 and got the carers benefit instead of the carers allowance.

Anyway that's up next may and we are still caring and probably will be for quite a few years so I'm wondering is their anything we can do without the obvious option of her quitting her job permanently?
I'm the one who does most of the caring and can't work much but im a taxi driver and don't want to forfeit my licence which is the only way I could get it.
