I have recently moved to the Mullingar area and I am interested in getting involved with trad music in the area. It's been a while since I played but I did perform at weddings and was part of a ceili band at one point but I am now very rusty! I am just looking for something to motivate me to getting back involved with music and so I am looking for suggestions!

Head out to Rathconrath to Gunning's Pub, serious trad sessions out there.

I'm not saying it's like that all the time but it's a known trad haunt.

First they came for the socialists...
