    Guys,

I’m having great difficulty connecting 2 Sonoff plugs to my WiFi network.
I do everything currently but it times out with the message that no device was found.

In my house I have 2 set up and running over a year now with any issues.
Decided to find a use for my other 2 but won’t connect.

Brought them down to my dads house as he also has 2 set up and plugged them in and they were found immediately so I know the plugs are working.

I’m on VM broadband. My router is set for 2.4 and 5 GHz but I’m obviously on the 2.4 while attempting to connect.
I’m using an iOS device (iPhone 11 Pro on the latest software).

    Any guidance appreciated.

Turn off the 5ghz on your router until set up

    Just tried that. No luck.
    Very strange indeed.

Was going to suggest using an Android device, but I'm guessing you used the iPhone for the successful setup in your dad's place?

How far are the new ones from the router at home?

About 6 feet between the router and the plugs.
Only difference in my dads is that he’s using an iPhone 8.

I’ve an Android there, I’ll try add it tomorrow

Just to add some closure to the thread.
Came home and tried it on my spare Android device. Worked perfectly.
Its obviously an iOS issue then.

I'll try report it as a bug to them.

    Thanks for the advice.

Had an issue with my sonoff plug last week, Plus was in the same room as router and not that far away and wouldn't connect...Plugged it in beside it the router and connected no bother then...Moved it over other side of the room and is working fine since.

Glad to hear you got sorted OP.
