Soft Copy v Hard Copy

    Hi all,

Not sure if I’m in the right place but thought I’d try.

I thought there was a European law introduced a few years that large institutions had to take soft copies and/or hard copies of any document that was sent in for whatever reason. Does this ring any bells? If so, could someone direct me.

For instance, if I wanted to send an application form to a bank, are they obliged to take it by email or can they mandate a hard copy.

    Thanks all
