Four men arrested in connection with investigation into serious incident in Kildare https://jrnl.ie/4906086

This will never end until the full force of the law comes down on these animals. They are acting with complete impunity and there will be deaths before too long. Something has to give eventually.

Them boys had a society forced upon them, let them alone. Ownership is a social construct.

Amazing that we are all being made to tip tie around them because of that status. The beat and slash the bejaysus out of each other day in and day out yet a whole government is trying to keep it hush hush so as not to offend

Journal usually locks a story when charges have been issued. But for a 'sensitive' matter like this

The journal pick ams choose what stories they lock and unlock which of course is their prerogative. Wish there was a bit of consistency all the same. One thing about the travellers, they are definitely consistent.

How is Gramsey related to Joe Joyce? Is he a nephew?

    Any word from Pavee Point

Those boys will be out on a technicality and back earning more fees for the Criminal Justice Industry within hours. Pavee Point and the Irish Council for Criminal Liberties won't be available for comment unless one of them stubs his toe on the steps out if the Garda Station then they will be screaming police brutality.

Thought the anti-traveller stuff belonged in the “Current Affairs” forum?

Expect a deafening silence until the next time "racism" is uttered in defiance of social norms.

The Journal generally close comments on stories when they don't want criticism of the perpetrators.

Ah come on now, they are disadvantaged, and the settled peeeeple don't give a damn about them .

Shur anyone in their position would try to decapitate another human being with a slash hook to be fair. Our fault.

    Here you have it.
The Slash hook is the noble weapon of a proud warrior people; like a Saurai and his sword.

Also possibly a brother, uncle and second cousin as well.

I love how they mention "Significant damage was caused to a 4x4 vehicle belonging to the injured man..." - it's a lovely and subtle little way of basically saying an expensive most likely Range Rover worth what you make in a year, acquired through very questionable means that we do not wish to explore for fear of being racist/xenophobic/judgemental.

If you had 14 kids and spend all of their children's allowance along with all criminal proceeds on yourself, you too could own a Range Rover

I wish they wouldn't stop at maiming though. With the apparent hatred in them videos they should be going directly for the jugular. That's how their forefathers would have done it

Ah it's like two hippos or two water buffalo trying to kill each other. A lot of drama and blood but thankfully saved by thick hides and skulls.
