    Hi all,
Looking for help please. The wife received her unlocking code today from VF and has received her sim already from Gomo and so she is hoping to port her number across to them asap.

Would someone be able to lay out the procedure for unlocking and porting so as to make the move smoothly?
    Thanks.

Unlocking and porting are two separate things. Unlocking can be done now, and wont effect the porting. How do to it, depends on the phone type she uses, put VF should have given instructions.

Once you have the unlocking, you go to the GoMo website, login to the account and submit the port request. Once the port is processed, the VF sim will have no signal. Once this happens, you move to the new GoMo sim.
