11 penalty points - insurance

    Hi,

    Does anyone know what insurance rates are like for a person with 11 penalty points ? I understand most companies will not give them a quote but their current insurer is legally obligated to I believe and despite the high price once even one quote comes in then a person cannot apply for help.

    Im looking for help with a friend so please no moral compasses or useless "you're screwed" replies. If anyone genuinely knows how high the insurance may be then I would very much appreciate your insight.
