Transferwise Borderless Account

I need to do a one-off transfer from the US to Ireland. The originator will convert it to Euros etc but they are charging 2% - over €500 on this transaction. I have used Transferwise before to send money and thought I would try their borderless account to receive money. Has anyone used this successfully? How did you get on? I have tried to enter the provided ABA routing number on the US sender side and its getting rejected as invalid

Yes, I've done this successfully many time - enter the "Wire Transfer Number" as the ABA/Routing number, and that should work for you
