I bought one of the Dell micro PC i3050 and have used it with barebones Linux mainly. I have installed Linux Mint and Opencpn chartplotter which is working well.

However I don't want to use an invertor on the yacht, is has no inboard and only 1 solar panel. I have seen cigarette adaptors that suit laptops but not the i3050.

Just wondering if anyone has an idea.. I have opencpn also on a Pi as backup and papercharts

Upto 190w to charge the main battery through a regulator. The house battery will then feed the vhf, lights and the i3050.. Just need to find a portable 19v power adapter for it

I guess I could get a generic mains power supply for it and cut the adaptor off the end and attach to a dell laptop car power lead.
