LG OLED C9 55" + Sonos Amp + Speakers or Naim Atom + Speakers
Options
-
03-12-2019 2:15pmHi guys,
I'm looking for a bundle of the LG OLED C9 55" and either Sonos Amp + speakers (small bookshelfs - KEF or B&W?) or Naim Unity Atom + speakers (again, small bookshelfs KEF or B&W or maybe something else?). I was also looking at the KEF LS50W as an alternative but these do not seem to have the HDMI ARC port or am I missing something?
Please include 4m of a good speaker cable as well.
As for the speakers - I'm open to suggestions. My intention will be to keep them on a TV bench rather than the stands as room is small.
Could you please give me your best price for such bundle(s)?
Thanks,”Where’s the revolution? Come on, people you’re letting me down!”

Thanks for the post.
Lets start with the Speakers and Amp.
Are you looking HDMI ARC on the amp as 90% of stereo amps will not have this connection. Its usually only Home cinema receivers
The Sonos Amp and KEF LS50W do not have HDMI connections on them as they are designed for stereo.
If you wanted to stick with a stereo amp and still have HDMI ARC connections then there is the Denon DRA800 priced at £499
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-204271-denon-dra800h-black-network-stereo-receiver.aspx
The Naim Unity Atom also has an HDMI ARC coming in at £1995.00
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-13066-naim-uniti-atom-compact-high-end-all-in-one-player.aspx
You could then pair any bookshelf speakers to these amp.
Perhaps like the Monitor Audio Silver 50 priced at £499
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202734-monitor-audio-silver-50-black-black-oak-speakers-per-pair.aspx
Or the KEF Q150 priced at £399
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202808-kef-q150-black-speakers-per-pair-exc-grilles.aspx
The KEF Q350 priced at £499
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202801-kef-q350-black-exc-grilles-speakers-per-pair-exc-grilles.aspx
The 55C9PLA is already listed up with a boards special at £1249 or 1399 Euro
Let me know your thoughts on the amp and speakers and I'll see we sort of a deal I can work for you.0 -

Sonos website suggests that the Amp has the HDMI ARC, so that is why I was considering it that: https://www.sonos.com/support/en/sonos-user-guide/index.html#t=sonos-user-guide%2Famp%2Famp.htm.
As for the speakers, is there any chance I could test 2-3 pairs at home and return those that I do not like? With a gear like Atom one would like to make sure the sound is right. Also, what is the euro price of the Atom? Can you supply the B&W 607/606s?
Thanks,”Where’s the revolution? Come on, people you’re letting me down!”

I keep forgetting the NEW Sonso Amp has HDMI ARC.
We don't really run the service of being able to allow customers to try multiple pairs of speakers and then return them.
This way we would be left with many sets of 2nd hand speakers than we could not sell as new and this in turn would lose us a lot of money.
I suppose if I had a display pair you could pay for our display ones and we could send them to you and then after a few days of demoing you can return them to us and we could then do the same for another pair of display speakers.
We do not have every speaker that we stock for demo unfortunately.
You are more than welcome to book yourself into the store for a demo and you could listen to them here.
The Atom is priced at a very very good 1949 Euro. Much better than the sterling retail.

At the moment we are unable tot ship the B&W range to the South Of Ireland. We are working to correct this but at the moment its a no.0 -

I couldn't offer any better pricing on the TV as it has now went back to £1399 as the Black Friday deals have finished.
I can still offered it at the quoted price of £1249 but this will also have to expire today unfortunately.
I could offer the Sonos Amp and LS50 together for £11700
