What are the prospect like for a physics teacher to pick up relife work not in Dublin but in an area with a big increase in population and probably within striking distance of Dublin if they were stuck?

I think if they could say they were willing/able to teach Maths as well they might be OK. Physics on its own would not fill many days.

Schools cannot attract applications for many open jobs at the minute. Physics teachers are non-existent.

OP, if you're a qualified Physics teacher, get in touch and I'll put you in contact with a school who (or were at least) are desperate for a teacher until the end of the year.
