Go to an electrical wholesaler. DIY places tend to be overpriced, offer less choice and quality can be lacking. Try Kellighers, ND Electrical or Eurosales.

    IKEA

You obviously will need to wire them to your own ceiling roses.

    As @brightspark says.
The IKEA Hemma is the way to go if you're anywhere near Dublin or Belfast.
I replaced all the pendants in the house with a few of these.
Getting three of them for €8 is an absolute steal!

Thanks but really don't fancy a trip to IKEA just for this

There's a Kellihers Electrical not too far from work so going to try there at lunchtime as suggested by 2011 above

I've been in a lot of hardware shops over the last five years and they all say nobody wants the E27 ones.
My guess is that they have 10 years worth of B22s left!
The only E27 ones I can get are industrial ones for heatlamps.

If you get sorted at Kellihers would you let us know?
It would be great to have an alternative.

No luck in Kellihers - all B22

I got an E27 one in National Lighting but paid well over the odds at €20!

I also got a B22 to E27 converter in Woodies for €3.49 so if that works I'll return the €20 one but it's handy to have it as a backup for when I'm doing the job
