I really think everything is set up for Joshua to win on points. Luis Pabon is a referee notorious for allowing holding, the ring is apparently 22ft which is bigger than UK ruling allows, Steve Gray is a judge and is notoriously kind to Hearn fighters.

All Joshua needs to do is jab on the outside and hold on the inside, stay on his feet and he'll win. I do think Ruiz is all wrong for him but it's a big task for Ruiz going in knowing he'll need the KO. People say Ruiz was beating Joshua up for multiple rounds last fight but he was beating up a concussed Joshua for multiple rounds. There's a big difference. As long as Joshua keeps his wits about him, stays on his feet and doesn't fight with Ruiz in the pocket he should win.

Big fight for Dennis Hogan tonight too fighting Jermall Charlo in NY. Moving up in weight so big ask for him but he fought very well against Munguia and I'm not convinced the Charlo's are all that. Struggle to see Hogan winning but should give a good account of himself.

The ring in NY was also 22ft I believe.

Hoping for a Ruiz win, but it relies on AJ being a bit sloppy. His confidence has taken a real beating, which will encourage him to keep his distance. He won’t be hunting for an early KO like last time out. Ruiz will need to apply the pressure early and bring him into a scrap like in NY.

Not sure on AJ shedding the weight and focusing on his boxing either; he’s not going to transform his skills in 6 months, and could miss that power. Ruiz’s weight is also a bit of a mystery — he hasn’t taken his top off all week, so hard to know if it’s flab or muscle.

Maybe a contentious AJ points win, setting up the trilogy fight?

Hrigovic beats Molina with a rabbit punch, Molina was looking for a way out from the 1st anyway.

Joshua in round 5 for me. Feel him out and then realize he is exhausted and BANG. Could be even earlier.

Whyte up next surely he'll be trying to put his man away early. He's 8/15 to knock Wach down in the first 6 not too shabby.

He'd need to. Doesn't look like he'll last long

Out of shape Whyte usually means 12 round borefest

Very little atmosphere in the place. I think all the front seats are taken by people who are only gonna show up for the main event.

They really should have had a better undercard given the occasion.

If this keeps up the AJ ring walk will be at 7.45 instead of 8.45.

Good 1st round from Hunter. Didn't think he could hurt Pov like that.

Povetkin is still dangerous. I have a small bet on Pov an Ruiz stoppage double.
