Lethal Weapon, to help make up for you heathens voting out Die Hard 2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,112 ✭✭✭circadian

I love Leathal Weapon, but for Christmas movie it's gotta be jingle all the way.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

Lethal weapon wins for me by just a hair, jingle all the ways is a classic too, just not as high caliber as LW though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,226 ✭✭✭Declan A Walsh

That was quick! I'm too late to vote for Lethal Weapon - looks like it's through anyway!

Lethal Weapon through to Round 3.

Never seen Black Christmas but Bad Santa is brilliant

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

Bad Santa, because it's gotta be in the mix in the next round, and deserves the spot more.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 52,319 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

Bad Santa out of these two anyways, though I think it's quite overrated

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,713 ✭✭✭Pretzill

Bad Santa because I think it's the better movie and I don't think slasher movies have a place at Christmastime.

Bad Santa because it is slightly amusing and I have not seen the other!

Bad Santa, the perfect antidote to horribly saccharin family Christmas films.

Gremlins because I love it and it was one of my nominations.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 52,319 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

    Gremlins.

We already have a 34th street in the next round and it's the better one.

Also Gremlins is awesome, and I nominated it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

Gremlins, because the better Miracle on 34th St is already in the next round

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,444 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Gremlins because it always reminds me not to feed the kids after midnight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,713 ✭✭✭Pretzill

I'll go Gremlins too, I prefer the later Miracle...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,226 ✭✭✭Declan A Walsh

I have not seen either so will not vote! It has already been decided anyway!

Pretty telling from the original list and this one that there's been pretty much nothing new in this genre worth chatting about in the last 16 years!

Nah he's right, The Grinch lost to National Lampoon, it was How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the Jim Carrey one) that Nightmare Before Christmas knocked out.
