thank **** your not the manager

He had a septic first half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,620 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Lee Mason gives a free kick for that but it was play on when it happened to Saka in the first half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,484 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Hardly septic he's been growing into the game since we got over that intial 20 mins of pressure from newcastle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,620 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Cebellos is playing very well. I can see why Arteta likes him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

I wonder is Arteta giving Eddie minutes in the hope he performs and we can make an easy few quid off him in the summer because he hasn’t a patch on Martinelli and I can’t see how we fit him into the team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Impressed with Ceballos, sits a little deeper than özil not afraid to get stuck in and can pick a pass from deep. Looks alot sharper than he did before his injury

  • Registered Users Posts: 957 ✭✭✭MonsterCookie

Ozil tiring a bit so maybe time to give laca and martinelli a run out

    Take Eddie off as well

2 different players imo, Eddie always reminds me of Ian Wright. Plays around 20 yards from goal. But that said I think there will be a lot of ins and outs and wether he survives remains to be seen

At the end of the day they’re both out there to score goals and one of them does that a lot better than the other

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,484 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Don't think Eddie is anywhere near good enough to be honest

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,620 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Starting to mess at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

Great 2nd half by Ceballos, he tried to get it forward every time he was on the ball

Ozil is a passenger at the moment needs to be subbed

Because one of them has played alot more than the other, but sure look you missed the whole point of my comment but we'll just leave it there.

    That Ozil fella is rubbish.

A lot of empty seats before the game is over and we 3-0. That wrecks my head

I’m wondering are the players following the thread

Did anyone see Pepe in the first half? He was scared of his shadow, wouldn't take anyone on despite being the quickest player on the pitch with the most magical feet. He was a disgrace.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,421 ✭✭✭Jmac24128

He need that...... Get in lacca

    Well, that was highly enjoyable!

Seems the players enjoyed it too.

Nice to win 4-0 again in the league. Really enjoyed that second half.

    Neil Diamond blaring out

Finally into positive territory in the goal difference department!

I was going to ask when the last time we won a league game 3-0, but then Lacazette scored.

When was the last time we won a league game 4-0? :pac:

You’re talking bollocks man he won back a heap of balls in that first half and was constantly dropping deep trying to get service, far from a disgrace.

Great win in the end. Much better second half and as mentioned already a positive goal difference now! Thought Ozil, Pepe and Saka were our best players today. Some very good performances all round to be fair.

    6 points off Spurs.

Whatever happens to CL and 5th place, I would LOVE to have St. totteringhams day again this year. Especially with "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" in charge.

He was excellent today ill agree, but overall to a certain extent i agree to a with HM. Pepe needs to bulk up a bit. His touches and his runs are fantastic and crosses are sublime. He'd land a ball on a euro cent.
He is a promising player. Not there yet but getting there.

Ceballos i was very disappointed with today tbh

hilarious thread today, a player makes a poor pass and he needs to leave the club

nice to see Arteta putting his patterns in practice and coming together in the 2nd half, also the team joyfully celebrating goals together was great to see as well

onwards and upwards from here hopefully

I thought Ceballos was very good in that second half

I must have been watching a different game.

I thought we really struggled in the first 30 (captain obvious), but then started to impose ourselves in the last 10 of the 1st half. I was confident enough at half time, so wasn't surprised to see us kick on in the 2nd. I thought, Saka, Ozil, Ceballos and Pepe were all excellent. I was delighted for Lacca too, it was the icing on the cake! Great to look forward to MOTD again for the first time in ages!

Quick mention for Mustafi. Yes we all are terrified when he plays, but let's be honest, he has been pretty solid his last couple of games. We're more soundly set up and it suits him.

Anyway, it's vino O'Clock after that display. clink clink!

No you watched the right game this was it in a nutshell. Too many fans on short nerves over reacting. Today from 30 minutes on was very good

    Great finish Laca.

In fairness it was a ****e lucky finish off his 2 feet but I don’t ****ing care I’ll take it all today 😂😂

Just saw that we’re away to Olympiacos on Thursday next.
Thought it was in two weeks time for some reason.
That would explain the starting lineup.
Martinelli, Torreira and Lacazette are sure to start.

Great stat about the Ozil goal today. Was a really great goal when you look at it, despite the error from Dubravcka in goal.

    Welcome to the arsenal thread.

It follows a similar pattern every week.

If your here enough you'll even start to see some people are very vocal when losing and go quiet when we're winning and vice versa.

Strange little world we live in ha
