    Hey,

Any ideas how to search for a bracelet similar to this? Tried their own description of woven steel and got nothing... Would only be looking for something cheap to stick on for a different look.

    Cheers

Quick ebay search for "1970s steel watch bracelet" shows a few similar types.

A good alternative is an expandable watch bracelet...something like THIS

Always found expandables to be very comfortable myself

A lot of 70's watches had similar bracelets. Maybe try "Seiko vintage bracelet" on ebay as Seiko had a few of that style. Or "70 bracelet" in Jewellery and watches section within ebay, that'll widen your search(you'll get French results on top).

Cheers gents, spot on. For expandables, is taking out a link the same as a standard? Only did my first one (replacing strap and removing links) last month and it seemed ok.

Taking links out of expandables is a little trickier than a normal bracelet but easy enough with a little YouTube help. If I can do it anyone can.

Most 70s Seiko were 19mm so be careful.

You usually count the rows in the link. So that would be a 7 row steel bracelet.

Look up beads of rice bracelet, similar to your opening post too.
