Feck it, I think I'll chance Targett, would start him for the next 4. Mings absence is a worry but those fixtures and his attacking potential are swaying me.

I'm going for Guilbert. It doesn't exactly have the feel of the Coleman V Baines choice from a few years ago

I was in the market for that cheap defender. Targett seems interesting now.

This week the cheap defenders seem to have some nice fixtures, with potential for some 0-0s

    Bournemouth - home to Burnley
Sheff Utd - home to Brighton
    Brighton - away to Brighton
    Villa - home to Southampton
    Newcatle - home to Palace
    Palace - away to Newcastle

    Team is
    Pope
    Kelly Lundy Rico
    Maddison Grealish Son Douglas.L
    Vardy Jesus Abraham

    Stek Soyuncu Robertson Mane
    1.3m in the bank
Used my FT for Mount to Grealish.
Would it be worth going Maddison to Richy.
Or Mane to KdB for a -4?

Thinking would be Mane to KdB this week.
    Next week Maddison/Robertson to Salah/Aurier
    Or Maddison/Jesus to Salah/Pukki
Want Salah over Mane going forward and not having KdB is killing me.

    Any thoughts lads?
Looking at my league I think I need to get KdB in. Although the price rise last night is annoying

I'm tempted by Grealish with the fixtures but is there anything to be said for McGinn to save a few bob? Does anyone know how he's looked lately?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,672 ✭✭✭ElTel

    Got Maguire in for Tomori.
Have just enough for Saka to Traore with last FT.

It’s Grealish or nobody if you’re going the Villa route.

McGinn has been completely out-of-sorts the last month or so.

Go Grealish, he's the main threat

This could be a tricky game week with most of the main teams playing each other

Well that's why they're in that price bracket isn't it? You could take a punt on Aguero if you have the cash to burn

Exactly, that’s my point & why I’d be looking elsewhere to Maupay for now.

McGinn has been playing through injury

If anyone has time take a gander at ‘General Chat Thread’ to assess my thoughts on Mane to Grealish.
    Cheers.

Waste of a transfer if you plan on bringing him Back in the following GW and you'll lose 0.2. Should be looking to strengthen your squad to cover rotation/injury over Christmas

    What's your current 15?

I reckon the third fixture has the makings of a draw.

    Guaita Henderson
    Aurier Guilbert Soyanchu Kelly Lundstram
    Maddison Mane KDB Son Cantwell
    Ings Rashford Vardy.
    Usually play 3:4:3
Guilbert Aurier Cantwell on bench last week or two.

    Rotate keepers.

Guilbert hasn’t scored well as Villa defence like a sieve lately but Villa have great run of games coming up.
Aurier prob deserves a start soon:)
    Cantwell back in form
So not really in a rush to change my squad much for Xmas fixtures.

Am I missing any obvious change?

Lundstrum to Lundstram is about it.

    Hold onto Mane.

I’ve 29 minutes to decide on KDB to Son for a -4

    Son rises tonight.

    It’s the transfer I’d planned.

Spurs have a much nicer next 4 than City.

It’s not just for one game.

    But

Leicester will defend deep and try to counter so KDB will play further up. He’s in good form.

I have Alli and selling KDB would mean a Spurs double up and no City players.

    It’s a -4 and I don’t like those.

    Mount out for Grealish here

Selling players in good form is always a no for me, whats the rest of your team?

The rest of my team is awesome but for the record -

    Pope

    TAA, Aurier, Lundstram, Rico, Kelly,
Mane, KDB, Alli, Richarlison (bought yesterday), Hayden
    Vardy, Jimenez, Abraham

I’m not afraid to sell a player that has just hauled.

I'd bank, you've a fairly good bench so you can survive without Mané for a week

Also got Targett and Grealish in for Robertson and Guendouzi. Will have Bench a strong attacker each week but have a feeling that won’t be a problem over Xmas.

You're really stretching that definition with Guendouzi

Need to get in bench cover for this weekend I think

    Pope/Heaton
    Rico Soy Ludstram
    Sissoko Sterling Grealish Zaha
    Vardy Jiminez Ings

Have Clarke (inj) Mane and Robertson on the bench will have 6.2 to spend on replacing Clarke who would people get in over Xmas for him?

Guendouzi is out for Grealish. He was my
    Midfield fodder.

Also brought in Targett and Grealish. I'll now have 14 starters next GW. Could bring in Martin then and BB but it's the worst time to do it I guess with all the rotation!!

I think like I did with palace people are getting sucked in by villa
Yes they have good fixtures but they have a few injuries and are just not very good !
    Grealish is plenty imo

+1 on this 3 clean sheets all season and 1 in the last 12 gws I'm in no hurry to get any of their defenders especially without mings
