    8.06 in lidl near me.

One guy had a trolley with 8 tins in it, doing laps of the store.

must have been waiting for back up to get through the tills

I’ve been going in every day after I drop off the kids at 9.30. This morning was the first time one of the deals had sold out before I got there - the chocolate Kimberley tins. There were still about 20 tins of the biscuits left though.

Saturday 21st is Prosecco case deal 6 bottles for the price of 4 €7.99, 1 case per transaction.

Is this 6 bottles for €8 or 6 bottles for €32?

Aldi are doing buy 1 get 1 free today which is €8.99 for 2

I'd say my local would have been out of them all before 9am. I was there at 8:30 and everyone had two Kimberly's and many also had two afternoon tea, at least half the stand was gone by the time I got there. They were enforcing the 2 limit thought, a lady in front of me had four Kimberly and was told the other two would be full price if she wanted them. So she decided to hold up the entire queue to go to the back of the shop to get two afternoon tea.

"New Irish"? Is that code for something else? Can you only look for "bargains" if you're old Irish?!

I know this particular extended family. They live locally and are often in this lidl store for the special offers. They have a stall in Fairyhouse market, selling mainly cleaning products, food stuff and under the counter fags.

They’ll just send James, the butler down later on to collect the bargains in a Brown Thomas bag!

You shouldnt really be encouraging christmas crackers, its an awful amount of waste being produced. if youre trying to save money youll be paying for it with the environment in a few years. I would say that this is the last year of crackers and wrapping paper's days are numbered too.

It must be up to local managers. Wexford LIDL had nothing reduced apart from the usual shortdated 30% stuff. All their cream was dated 26th and no effort was being made to shift it. Was there about 15 mins from closing and they just wanted to shut up shop and go home. Did hear one guy talking over a phone or their inhouse comms system telling someone, about food, that the boss 'wasn't doing that, you'd think he would but he's playing it strictly by the book, an awful pity but...."
Mind you there was little left on the shelves of hams, though there were lots of turkeys and chicken, sweets (QS, Heroes etc 2 for €8), biscuits, and mince pies. Maybe there had been a general announcement of all turkeys at €xx earlier in the afternoon.
