2 year warranty in Ireland. Not familiar with how it works.
    Or small claims court?

It's 4 or 6 years warranty I can't remember which under EU law.

I would suggest you do a bit of research first. There's no TVs with one year warranty sold in the EU.

    One year for OLED.
    @listermint
3 years of course if you pay 400 extra.
I spend 1700 euro and dont like extra 400

There's no such thing. Do some research. All electronics have longer warranty. You are wrong.

Soundstore and LG says 1 year

They are wrong. That is illegal. Do some research I'm not doing it for you.

Since I know you won't... Your spamming other threads now.

Here's a minimum for you. There is more warranty beyond that though I'm not sure what it covers

LG can't sell products in the EU without adhering to the rules.

    Listermint is correct.
If the TV has developed a fault through no misuse, contact Soundstore as they are who your consumer rights lie with.
Ask them to remedy the situation, and if they again refuse take a Small Claims Court action for the cost of the TV.

Similar issue here on a B6. Defined as burn in by the retailer and told it’s not covered which developed with very average use.

Had to initiate a small claim in the end.

Apple give one year on their products but two in Ireland because of our consumer protection laws.

You are fully protected. Go back to the store and bring a copy of the EU rules.

The EU directive on warranties was not adopted into Irish Law as our consumer laws offer better protection. Each country had the option on whether they wanted to adopt it, so though it is EU wide, it only applies in certain countries.

So the EU rules won’t do much, but the SOGASA will.

No they don't. Have a look at the warranty section of their website. https://www.apple.com/ie/legal/statutory-warranty/
