Issue with Network, phone possibly blacklised

    Was a 3 pay & go customer, switched to Go Mo. Few issues on transfer & had to get the phone unlocked in one of the phone shops. All working fine for a few weeks. Then I have no coverage on any network. Go back to the same shop & he thinks the phone is blacklisted. Spend an hour with old provider 3 who send on unlock instructions. Nothing works & they claim that 3 has not blacklisted the phone. Phone connects to Wi Fi no problem & can see the go mo network, just won't connect to it. I put the SIM in a different phone & it worked there.Any suggestions?

    If it is blacklisted, wouldn't it be GoMo to talk to and not 3?

    Checked with both of them & neither has blacklisted

    If you were Three PAYG then they've no reason to black it, you couldnt have an outstanding device bill. GoMo don't sell devices.


    Did you get any software updates? The shop probably flashed the baseband and didnt unlock it properly, update and it bricks. Now covering their arse. If you need to unlock buy a code on ebay for €15, dont go to the shops.
