Just wondering what is the policy here.

I bought a van thats cvrt is out since January the 6th 2019. Now I want to test it, but I was told if I get in done before January the 6th 2020 (e.g on the 20th of December) it will only be valid till then but if I wait till after January the 6th 2020 I will only get six months ?
Is this the truth or should I just get it done on December the 20th?

Any help on clearing this up would be appreciated thanks

yes that's the situation. Daft I know but you get rewarded for waiting. If you do it on the 20th , you'll have to do it again on the 6th

you'll get 6 months, I protested when I was in this position as my van was declared off the road for tax, but they wouldn't budge.
