    Don't, you'll end up with 4 points.

Sssshhhhh! I think I'm playing him in a H2H - do it, follow your heart! :)

    That's strange logic tbh.

It's been a while since many players did something useful and the logic should tell you to avoid those players, not to captain them.

Having them is fine. But to put the armband on them?
Man United haven’t kept a clean sheet since GW5. In that time, 2 defenders (Williams and Lindelof) have one attacking return each. Lindelof is the only one of those likely to play on Sunday. I don’t suggest even signing Lindelof, never mind captaining him.

I was trying to be gentle ;)

Personally wouldn't touch any of them.

Wouldn't even call it gambling. Vardy has been mopping up getting through on keepers this season. Guy is ridiculously cool and collected in those spots and he'll get them against this defence.

In what feels like my first somewhat risky captaincy choice this season, I'm going for Jimenez.

I brought in Zaha and I'm very tempted to put the armband on him.

Agreed, that the highest scoring player in the game can never be that much of a gamble. Particularly with fixtures the way they are this week and Vardy having a great record against top of the table teams throughout the years.

However, the thing that turned me off the move in the end was that City defensively aren’t as bad at home as away (and even at that, the narrative of City being leaky is overblown. They’re similar goals conceded than Sheff United and Crystal Palace who have been lauded as defensive strongholds.

For me, the regression without Laporte isn’t striking enough for me to go with the Leicester option in a game that Man City are 1/3 to win.

Having watched Palace on Monday I wouldn’t. They had no shots on goal in the first half and even though he got me a goal, he didn’t threaten too much and I’d say he massively over performed his xg.

This is absolutely a punty kind of week but I’d say this is one of the lower percentage punts personally.

    Throwing the armband on Richarlison.

Working on the assumption that Big Dunc will have Everton riled up into an absolute frenzy and that Arsenal will be Arsenal

He was subbed off the other night

Ive had the armband on Vardy recently but given this weekends fixture Ive swapped to Rashford

Watch as Watford and especially Ben Foster have their best performance in about 2 years

If you have Martial or Rashford they’re both very worthy of being captained.

It's down to KDB and Grealish for me. KDB seems like the more sensible choice but the maverick in me wants to take a chance on Grealish! Any thoughts?

Moreso Rashford. Martial has not been prolific at all.

I've been jumping between Kane, Alli, KDB and Ings all morning... went with Kane in the end.

There's very little difference between the two in terms of ppg... considering Rashford's "good" form and Martial's quiet season to date. Martial approx 5.6ppg and Rashford 6.2ppg. Martial has missed a big chunk of the season.

Captaining in the early kick off is always a risky strategy
