Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was Biggar too of all people, though in fairness he wasn’t to know much of the type of hit.

Is it me or are England far more full of niggle this year than in recent years? It seems to be in overdrive.

Ha ha, very cheeky alright, It was a bit more subtle than Gazza and Vinnie Jones some years ago

Definitely. The Eddie Jones effect. He has made them thoroughly unlikeable again for me.

Jones has been here for years now though. This year in particular though it's more noticable.

Question. That high ball which Farrell pushed over Biggar.

Am I the only one who thought the hit from Itoje afterwards on the Welsh 9 straight after looked a bit high? We didn’t get a chance to look at it again.

Maybe a bit of spite after WC loss. It is more pronounced this year.

He was lucky Williams jumped to catch the ball he was definitely coming in high, arguably a tackle without the ball too.

Yeah thought so too. Thought the hit to north's neck should have been carded, no mitigation at all, just a shot to the throat

Was the same in in the Ireland England game.

What is Parkes’ actual age? He’s early 30s going on late 50s.

The officials are letting them do it, easy to spot and handle but they’re choosing not to.

Looking back at the Marler incident again, I hope he gets cited. For no other reason than he saw himself on the screen and thought it was hilarious.

There is absolutely no way that ‘line speed’ is onside

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,508 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

I thought there was no knock on in the tackle any more?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,965 ✭✭✭blackwhite

Surely that was a shoulder to the back of Wyn-Jones’ neck there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

ITV now showing the early Biggar hit as part of a highlights package. But of a pause this time though after the slow-mo.
