batteries for cordless phone

    Battery neds replacing in Eircom 5010 cordless phone
    Manual say NIMH rechargeable 700 mah following brands
    Sanyo Twicell 700
     Sanyo Twicell 650
     Panasonic 700 mAh
     GP 700 mAh
     YDT AAA SUPER 700
     VARTA PhonePower AAA 700 mAh

    I cannot get these. will any rechargable NIMH 700 mah do? Will rechargeable alkaline do? Isn't mah only time it lasts for, Is 800 mah OK?

    Probably AAA NIMH batteries?

    If so, any type of AAA NIMH will do.

    :Edit- I just noticed they are AAA from your post.

    Any rechargable AAA NIMH batteries will do. The 700mah doesnt matter and is the capacity. So the 800mah will be fine.

    Best to stick with NIMH types though.
