Dropped my phone in water for 3 or so seconds 12 hours ago. Put it in rice for 4 or 5 hours. Should have left it for longer. There is slight water damage around the corners of the screen with my touch Not being responsive. Other problem is there is visible small water damage (a discoloration mark) on the bottom corner.…

There is slight water damage around the corners of the screen with my touch Not being responsive. Other problem is there is visible small water damage (a discoloration mark) on the bottom corner.

Don’t have the screwdriver necessary to take out the battery or the suction cup.

Should I take it to a repair shop. Any other options to minimize damage? Is the damage likely to be permanent?
