Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Funny enough no sign here and it's very cold, although maybe i'm to remote from the main drag..

It's odd tbh , I thought it was very cold but not freezing but they're either out between 11'-12 , or 4-5am . I didn't venture out to see if the car is frozen over .

Breakfast over, we went to a local hotel for it.
Sadness now descends on us as the young ones are packing to leave us again for a while.
Still, won't be long till we see them again, they're coming around St Patrick's day for a couple of days.
Mass soon and then football for me today.
    Longford v Tipperary.

I just noticed it in your pics. They reminded me of the Snickers and "Do you want to ride with Batman". :pac:

Having a cup of tea and listening to the Tipp match on the radio :)

Coffee. Its looking good today. A sunny Marchis a good sign. I have to go out again. Very stressed. Imo this level of cortisol dumping, adrenalin pumping stress would cause cancer a lot faster than a therapeutic cigarette would. So I'm stopping at a shop asap.

Home after an epic weekend in Tipp with extended family, great session of music Friday and Saturday night, "working from home" tomorrow so a beer about to be consumed from the fridge

    Love that boldness!

I've a glass of wine left over from yesterday and am considering having it with my dinner.

Tableside post rasher sandwich. Very reviving.
Going to stack some firewood (its like building a stone wall, I don't just throw it in a heap. Done right it's not going to avalanche, and its a meditative activity).
Then shower, dress on and a dinner for a friend

At home in my living room, sitting on the floor building a Lego set I bought nearly a month ago.

Was out for a brisk walk in the Phoenix Park earlier - very cold, bitter wind. Hard to believe it's March 1st!

Hope you are all having a good Sunday. :)

That reminded me of when my daughter was crazy for Legos. All I remember is being barefoot and stepping on a wayward piece. Nothing is more painful, heh.

    Homeside onmyown side.
I couldn't face the friends dinner in the end. My friend is heavily pregnant and I find it difficult at the moment. 2019 seemed like the year of the pregnant woman...Of course I am happy for her. And it's a group of about a dozen so I wont be leaving her in the lurch at dinner.

There was beautiful birdsong at twilight today.

    And the Friday night shenanigans?

2 pints a g&t and shared a fish supper, died with heartburn afterwards lol...I'm telling ye all now theres nothing good about getting older, the only time I've ever suffered from heartburn previously was when I was pregnant, I'm blaming the lemon in the gin ,better than any 'headache '😂

I'm on a bit of a roll this week, I got a completely unexpected 50e voucher from someone I hardly know for something very small that I did for them ages ago, totally unwarranted imo but a lovely gesture and then my neighbour sent in a bottle of red Italian wine (my favourite) tonight because they won't drink it (can't think why they thought of me ☺️)...its amazing how things like that really make you happy....now I'm wondering if things happen in 3's,I might chance the lotto gods on Tuesday night..bet I've jinxed myself now lol.

Couchside, chilled and thinking of bed which will be less than an hour away as work beckons tomorrow.

The film Deep Blue Sea is on TV in the background. It is a woefully awful film - threadbare plot and tenth rate acting but I must say the lead actor is very hot. :D
