Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In need of virtual hugs. Just left my theatre group AGM coz have still hours of work to get done and am hit with a wave of homesickness I haven't experienced in years.

Am putting it down to hearing how one of my mates from theatre lost her dad just before Christmas. She was lucky and had gone home to see him coz he was ill.

My dad has a brain aneurysm and an irregular heartbeat so could drop dead anytime without warning. Scares the crap outta me but there is no way I can live at home. Being home for a few months reinforced that.

Why can't I be like my older sibling and be content in that wee corner of the planet. Why do I insist on making life harder for myself.

Wanted to chat with my son's but eldest is in work and youngest in a lecture. Don't want to call my mum coz will just upset her.

Dunkin Donuts better still be delivering by the time I get home.

Edit just checked and they aren't. Tayto crisp sandwich it is then.

Witchie only a week or two ago I said you are one tough lady and I meant that. You're tougher than I'll ever be and I'm sorry to read that. Hope you talk to your sons and feel better soon. Internet stranger booby hugs from me to you.

On the luas home from work, just 4 pints last night but by god it's been a long struggle today.

Early night and I should be back to normal tomorrow.

I'm putting my feet up and going to have a snooze for an hour!

I'm came home and was starving, opened the huge bag Keoghs crisps intending to have a few,ate the lot and sick as a dog now, disgusted with myself, can't have any treat with my nightly can now as self punishment.

The thing I was dreading tomorrow has been postponed, wasted anxiety all week and will have to go through it all again ffs.

I won 14e earlier on the euromillions, they're probably starting me off small so I wont get a banger when I win the big one..positive thinking and all that.

Got home, got hugs from boyfriend and a few years released the pressure, then got my work done.

Heading bedside now as am just completely drained. Will chat to family tomorrow.

Thank you my lovelies for lifting my spirits before bed. Xxx

Went for a walk with the dogs earlier, they had me plagued, they know I'm back in form again.
Watched some football, skipping between matches, and now I'm having tea and friggin rice cakes.
Even the dogs don't like them, why is everything nice bad for you?

Bedside early mornings catch up on you by Wednesday but great to have no traffic on the way to work.

My diet is shocking at the moment I'm either good or bad no in between.I'm definitely bloated after those fecking crisps and my stomach is making weird sounds. I'm going to detox next week, can't do Monday so maybe Tuesday or would the week after be better lol.

I bought strawberries in Aldi last night dated the 25th,opened them earlier for the kids and half of them were gone off,so annoying ,it happens regularly and they're expensive enough.

I always check the weather forecast on here every day as it's the most accurate imo and I don't like the fact that windy weather is due back Sunday or Monday, I'm going to try and ignore but it can't be unseen,my friend couldn't care less and is not one bit empathetic to my anxiety about flying if it's windy..must find new friends. 😂

Duvet, I used to love flying until a VERY bad landing experience beside a Polish lady who started praying aloud ruined me! My sister was on my other side roaring laughing - she was a "bit" tipsy so I've learned from that, that ... a "drop" (of alcohol) helps!!! Mam, can you come and sort out my boxes please?
Bishop, I'd be putting some chocolate spread on those "cakes"

About the rice cakes or the boxes Bishop ? !

You know yourself , turn your back on the boxes and they seem to multiply !
And I think Honeybear would agree with that :D

(All inside boxes were unpacked , just a few in the shed left )

Couchside at home, watching the Tonight Show after the election leaders debate. Very tired after another very long day.

Leo was very very reticent to answer the question by Pat Kenny on whether or not he used illegal drugs - should make no difference, he told Hot Press about 12 years ago that he toked on a joint at a party in his college days.

My friends 'ahem' were delayed at the airport a few months ago,it was a late flight and the the last flight leaving that night, they were on the g&t's and had just got another one when the flight was called, didn't want to down it and wouldn't waste it so they got 2 takeaway coffee cups from the bar man and enjoyed the drinks on board. ☺️

Woke at 5 ish crying this morning. Boyfriend stayed awake chatting and cuddling me until I felt better about 2 hours later. Then he got up and messaged me a while later asking if I wanted pancakes. Just had pancakes, hash browns and coffee and going to sleep for an hour before work starts.

He is the best, sweetest man on the planet.
