I think Boeing is best avoided for a while given the toxic issues and costs associated with your namesake, the 737 Max. The list of issues gets longer and longer not to mention passenger resistance.

I agree, even without this downturn that company has some major issues to resolve.

Boeing could end up like GE if they smell blood

Exonn Mobil looks a decent punt at this stage.

Wow. Just saw the travel news. Seems America are finally taking this seriously... so yes, carnage today. This is fascinating.

Futures down 4.64% at the moment and below the weekly 200 ema which is where some thought could be the bottom. Cannot see it rising tomorrow before the weekend either unless there is some major positive news.

As I keep repeating on here. Look to China. Their market is only down 1.5%

Should of listened to those who said sell up. This is going to be a wild ride

They are coming out the other side of this, Europe is just getting going (apart from Italy) and America is just getting started. This has a long way to go yet.

I'm looking towards China. Stocks like JD, Best, NIO & BABA

Also debating long Far East indices and short US indices as a dual play

Vix at 62.5 right now, not been that high since 2008, could see it equalling those heights tomorrow (81 to 96 range at peak) or earlier next week I feel.

BA down 15% has to be a good long term bet IMO.

    Down to $163 premarket

    It's carnage out there

I didn't wanted to ask about everything in the 1st post itself :p

I want to accumulate slowly bit by bit.

JP morgan downgraded BA to sell after years of buy/hold/nuetral rating apparently

    Delta down 13%

I have it my watchlist and reckon it'll make a decent buy

Airlines going to the wall and others cancelling orders being the reason you'd imagine - a 9-11 event for the travel industry whether it persists remains to be seen but the likes of Norwegian are surely dust now

Same. Waiting for the next two Financials.

For sure, just checked and crikey Norwegian has dropped to 67 cent... On the brink now..

The likes of Delta and BA a good bet as they will come back from this in time.

There is very rarely a good time to buy a commodity industry, especially one as capital intensive as airlines.
