Tuning UK channels on LG TV

I'm trying to set up a new television. The location is close to the border so it should be able to get both Irish and UK terrestrial channels. Another TV in the house can get all channels.

Whenever I set my location to Ireland, it tunes in the Irish channels from 1 to 12 but no UK channels. If I set my location to UK, it tunes in the 12 Irish channels but at random locations in the 800s and again no UK channels are picked up.

The TV is an LG 43UM70, bought in Currys in Northern Ireland.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

The UK signal at that TV point just mustn't be any good. I assume both TVs are connected to the same aerial?

It's at my mum's house, now that I think about it she may be getting UK channels through a freesat box on the other TV.

That LG TV has a built-in satellite tuner, so you can get the UK channels that way if you can get a feed to it.
