    Hi Guys,

I am looking for a price / recommendation for a new AV Receiver. Looking at either the Denon AVRX2600 or the Sony STRDN1080.

Have an old set of Boston SE 5.1 speakers and am wondering if mixing speakers is ok? I was looking to upgrade the centre speaker and leave the others for now. Any recommendations /pricing would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Lavelmar.

Either of those amps would be a great upgrade.

They are currently the two moist popular AV receivers.

I could offer the 2600 at £400 or 470 Euro
For the STRDN1080 I could offer at £385 or 453 euro
You are free to pay in which currency works out to be cheapest for you.

On the centre speaker, there is no real issue on mixing brands and speakers.
It depends what size of centre you want to go for.

You could look at the MIN22 priced at 99 Euro.

Q Acoustics have the 3090C priced at 139 Euro
