Out of the big hitters in my team I'm most confident Vardy will start and play 90. He gets the armband

Vardy will be out to celebrate the baby so going for him (and he is rested)

He is playing Newcastle away not Burnley away as stated above.

    It's...........

    .....Jamie Vardy

Voted Aguero, but Vardy is the safe move.

Then again, why own Aguero and not captain him? :)

It’s the New Year. It calls for a party.

A rested Jamie is too hard to overlook.

Will he be on the Vodka and skittles on New Year's Eve though?

If knew Mane or KDB would start, one of them. But I don't, so its currently on Ings. Might chicken out and go Vardy.

I'd be shocked if mane didnt start. Klopp doesnt really care about the FA cup so id expect mane to get his rest then. If anyg of the front 3 get a rest I reckon it will be Firmino.

Going with the crowd and (c) vardy owes me after last week.

(Any chance someone could check stats on how he has performed after his previous babies... I'm sure the information is out there for those that know where to find said stats)

Going for Vardy. As mentioned he should be desperate to score in honour of the newborn, and Newcastle will be without Lascelles, Clark, Dummett, and possibly even Schar.

    Mane

auba. arsenal will be out to send a message after getting disappointed last week. auba should be up top with laca benched

    Ings

spurs don't have a defence and ings is the form player who delivers
    almost every week

one goal at the very least surely agains this spurs side

tempted by mane but I don't think pool will do a job on sheff utd, possibly a 1-0

    Yep, Rodgers has confirmed it.

Q: Vardy had some great news this morning. Have you spoken to him? Would you expect him to be back on New Year’s Day?

BR: “I haven’t spoken directly to him because we were preparing for the game. He had the good news this morning.

“In fairness to him, he’s delayed this as long as he possibly could. With his wife, she went into hospital yesterday and gave birth this morning. It’s brilliant for both of them.

“He wouldn’t have played today anyway, he’d have been on the bench. We let him stay at home, look after his wife and his kids, and he will be back available for Newcastle.”
